When u see pri sch kids, especially the p1s and p2s, u can see how carefree and happy they are…cos they don’t really care about the things going around, they wud only make use the time they have together.
And if u notice, if they quarrel or fight, it will take no longer than 1 day for them to make up…and that is something we, as teens cannot do. They don’t hold grudges, and they wud forget all sad things that they encountered, and continue having fun with their friends, and spend their days without worrying anything.
The friends u make when u were still in childhood are the REAL friends…cos their main purpose of making friends with u is just, FRIENDS.
But for our case, its different, some ppl make friends with u for some other reasons. But these kids will face the real world in just a few years time when they’ll encounter many different types of ppl. There are many different types of ppl, there are sensitive, self-pity, pessimistic, etc. ppl.
Some ppl love to think they’re depressed, and love to think their life sucks, but honestly, they themselves are the ones causing themselves feeling this way.
Even though I may be just 14 this year, but I had learnt many things, and one of them is the 6 important As.
First, its Attention, everyone needs attention. Secondly, its Appreciation, its sort of recognition that everyone needs as motivation. Thirdly, its Availability, u need this. Cos it’s the time u’re willing to spend with someone or something. Fourth, Accountability, everyone is accountable to each other. Fifth, its Authority, not everyone has this. But u have to fight for it.
Last but not least, Acceptance. Human cnt live on without this. This also means forgiveness. No matter how much u hate this person bcos of some reasons, u have to learn to accept his mistake and shortcomings, cos no one in this world is perfect. Everyone came to this world as sinners and every single one of us, including me, have had a moment of folly and made mistakes before. Forgiveness represents maturity.
I once felt rejected, dejected, and sadness once poured over me, but its God’s Words, that made me rise up and He was the one who removed all my burden. I know I’m not a very popular fiure among friends.
Life is not a very long time, it dun come naturally. Why bother hating ppl using this short time? Why wudn’t u try to forgive and accept those tt once hurt u and irritated u, or even those tt really made u hate him to the core? I believe its all down to mentality. I believe God had given us life not to hate ppl, but to live together as brothers and sisters. Martin Lurther King once said, “If we do not learn to live together as sisters and brothers, we shall die together like fools.” No hatred or grudges, just love, forgiveness and acceptance.
As I emphasis again, why not try forgive the person u always hated? And u will definitely feel relived and feel a burden had been removed from ur shoulder.
People like to say “Life is like a box of chocolate, u’ll never know wat u gonna get.” But for me, I dun think life is like a box of chocolate, cos on the box itself, it shows pictures of its content. Same goes to friends. Friends are gift from God specially for u. And u have to unwrap it urself, no one will do it for u.
Just you. Pls do not throw the gift away if u see an ugly and unpresentable box which lies underneath the wrapper. Give that gift and urself a chance, continue unwrapping it. Until u see wats inside. U’ll be able to see beautiful things inside there, cos everyone are special in their own ways.
Some ppl may say they love the gift, but deep inside their heart, its just, trash.
Do not reject them in any way, cos u wun like it being rejected.
I’m really sorry if I irritated u and made u fed up, I just want to apologise. I really don’t expect anymore things from this, really, so I just wanna stop all this, and pretend I dun even know you. I’m not being sensitive, but I just felt this way. I promise you I’ll get out of your sight, I promise, until the day when you really genuinely wanna make friend with me. We’ll continue to be strangers until that day.
I dunno wat made u feel stupid knowing me. Issit bcos of my age? Or issit bcos of my personality? Or my appearance? I dunno. Or is it bcos I’m a sec2 and u’re a sec3? If tts the case, I’ve got nth to say. I know u had always treated as a kid, a sensitive little kid, but it’s the way u act that made me feel so.
U said u understood when I clarified with u, but I dun think so at all. Somethimes silence can seem so loud, cos when u dun speak, others will. And I’m not ASSUMING, it’s the way u act tt make me feel so. But maybe I’m just thinking too much…I know I am…
But I know I cnt blame you, cos I reap what I sow.
But I truly appreciate the time our group spent together and even though it was short, it was unforgettable. And it was my honour to know such a cute girl….haha…
